My Brief Bio

I graduated in 2022 with a BSc. in Geographical Sciences from the University of British Columbia. During this time, I focused on Meteorology and took introductory courses Remote Sensing and GIS. Using ENVI, I completed an analysis on the urban heat island effect by comparing surface temperatures of downtown Vancouver to Pacific Spirit Park near UBC. I also used ArcMap to do a quantitative analysis on the changes to song sparrow populations between 2006 and 2011 at UBC. I'm looking forward to acquiring programming and data management skills, during my Advanced Diploma in GIS, to advance my abilities for working with GIS data. I hopes to utilize my background and new skills in the meteorological and retail field.
